"Where it all begins."
The 20 Acre, State of the Art Equissage Training Facility is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Virginia. Located in the village of Round Hill, The Equissage Horse Farm is approximately 45 miles northwest of Washington D.C., and is conveniently accessible from Dulles International Airport (just outside the capital), Interstate 95 to the east and Interstate 81 to the west.
The facility lies in what is more popularly called: "Virginia Hunt Country"... an area populated with numerous hunt clubs and world class Thoroughbred Breeding Farms, owned by some of the nation's more successful racing families. (i.e. The Mellons, DuPonts, Firestones, et al.)
The Equissage stable of horses used as "models" for the certificate Program consists of nearly every type of horse to ensure the best training possible. Most of the horses have actively competed so that there is always a number of equine subjects exhibiting identifiable muscle inconsistencies and residual muscle problems requiring treatment.
